Greetings and salutations, faithful followers of this blog! I’m Timothy Scott Purvis and you’ve found yourself once more partaking in a Story Time With Tim offering! Sure, it’s Poetry Time for the time being but we’ll be getting back to the stories at the start of the New Year! For now, I hope you’ll enjoy these poems and feel free to check out the book I made available on Amazon containing the vast majority of these works!
So, the thematic layout of this piece was another experimental endeavor. I also used a font that would make it seem a little more… elegant. Unfortunately, it means it’s harder to read as a result so I’ll post another version of it below it so that it’ll make more sense. The asterisks denote the spacing of the piece on how it was originally presented. Anyhow, thanks for stopping by and see you again next week! Don’t forget, I’m accepting donations below and would appreciate anything you’re willing to give!

***************Might Makes Right
********************Write
**********Like a wayward shipwright
*********Second guessing the last sight
********************Quite
********A rabid tempest that just might
***Frighten battle-hardened and brave knights
********************Bright
*******The future is a trillion nanites
********Screaming for an electrolyte
********************Trite
**********A little kid flying a big kite
*****The government offering a big shyte
********************Plight
*****The world falling from a great height
******Darkness suffocating the last light
********************Tight
********Hoping to find the flag white
*******Lest we salvage a sacred blight
****************That’s right
And there you go! Another week come and gone and I hope you enjoyed this piece! Yeah, it was a little difficult to format but I think you get the general gist of it, ya? Anyhow, read to you again next week! Take care!
