Greetings and salutations, faithful readers! Welcome back to yet another week of Story Time With Tim now temporarily called Poetry Time With Tim until I have more stories ready to post! Which, well, I’m posting these faster than I can write so I’m going to have to figure out something for 2022 that will be entertaining for you all. In the interim, I do have these final poems I’ve never put up here but are available in a collection of my poems available through Amazon Kindle. Check out the link below to go there and see if you’d like a copy for yourself!
Anyhow, this poem was based on a random text I once received while I was attending college for Motion Picture Production. I don’t know who sent it or why. They never responded to any other text. But it seemed to be a love poem about somebody they loved. Who that somebody was is unknown. But, it was an interesting text to receive. So, I wrote a small short poem about it and this is that poem. I hope you enjoy it and come back next week for some more! I know, I know. I don’t have a lot to say about these pieces. However, I do think letting them speak for themselves is better overall. After all, what can I add that the work doesn’t already say?
Alright, without further adieu, ‘Hey, Man’:
Hey Man
Hey
I love her man.
Hey
I love her.
Hey
I lover her a lot.
Hey
I love her.
Who
Is this texting me?
This
One who loves her so?
Why
Does he share with me?
That
Wonderful thought?
Alright, there you go. Another week of Story Time With Tim and I do hope you enjoyed the piece. I hope to read to you again next week for another offering of poetry. And, rest assured, more short stories and works are coming down the pipeline! See you soon!
